Customer sourcing
Turn a customer request into private supplier sourcing
Vendinav can turn a customer request in a customer room into a linked Job and private supplier RFQs, then carry the sourcing result back to the customer quote. The customer cannot see supplier conversations, quotes, or supplier pricing.
Begin with the customer-facing request
A customer can use a secure customer room to provide the request, files, messages, and quote feedback without creating a full Vendinav account. That room remains the customer-facing context for the work.
The Company can create a linked Job from the request so the internal operational context does not have to be rebuilt in an unrelated spreadsheet or email chain.
Create supplier RFQs from the linked Job
The sourcing team can prepare focused supplier RFQs from the linked Job, select Vendors, and open a separate private room for each Vendor. Suppliers can come from the Company's existing list, the Vendinav Vendor network, or a new secure-link invitation.
Each supplier room keeps its own messages, files, quote details, revisions, and pricing. Competing suppliers do not see one another's participation.
Keep supplier sourcing private from the customer
The customer room and supplier sourcing are separate visibility lanes. The customer cannot see supplier RFQs, private Vendor rooms, supplier quotes, conversations, or supplier pricing.
The Company can review those commercial inputs internally and decide what belongs in the customer quote. Vendinav does not expose the underlying sourcing detail simply because the records are linked.
Share with Team can carry the Customer Room, linked Job, RFQ, Vendor Room, Accepted Work, or fulfillment reference into an internal Company conversation. On supported work with a current responsible teammate, Ask User opens or reuses the appropriate internal conversation; if no active responsible teammate is assigned, Ask User is unavailable.
A reference does not grant new work access. The internal Company conversation remains internal and is not mirrored into the customer room or a Vendor room.
Can a customer see the supplier quotes used to prepare its quote?
No. Supplier rooms, responses, and pricing stay internal. The customer sees the customer-facing room and customer quote, not the Company's private sourcing record.
Can a customer see internal Company messages about its request?
No. Internal Company conversations stay internal even when they reference the Customer Room. The messages are not mirrored into the customer-facing room.
Return the result to the customer context
After the Company evaluates supplier responses, it can prepare or update the customer quote in the original customer room. The customer conversation remains connected to the request while the supplier decision context remains internal.
This creates a traceable operational path from customer request to Job, supplier RFQs, private rooms, selected inputs, customer response, Accepted Work, fulfillment, and Calendar dates.
Keep payment relationships direct
Vendinav coordinates the customer and supplier work but does not process the underlying B2B payments. Customer, Company, and Vendor payment obligations remain in their respective direct commercial relationships outside Vendinav.
Does Vendinav combine customer and supplier payments?
No. Vendinav does not hold the underlying funds in escrow or insert itself into the parties' payment relationships. Vendinav plan pricing is separate from those transactions.
