Internal Company Messenger gives authorized teammates direct and group conversations with supported work references, so the team can discuss the right record without turning a link into new access.
Bring the record into the internal conversation
Ask User can open or reuse the appropriate internal conversation with a current responsible teammate. Share with Team can carry a supported Customer Room, Job, RFQ, Vendor Room, Accepted Work, or fulfillment reference into an internal direct conversation or group.
- Keep internal discussion in Internal Company Messenger.
- Use read and unread state, typing presence, Seen receipts, editing, and reactions where supported.
- Return from the conversation to the connected work when the participant is authorized.
References preserve authority instead of bypassing it
A work reference does not grant access the recipient does not already have. Each participant's authority is evaluated independently when the linked record is opened. Internal conversations stay internal and are not mirrored into Customer Rooms or Vendor Rooms.
What happens if no responsible teammate is assigned?
Ask User is unavailable when there is no active responsible teammate. Vendinav does not guess a recipient or broaden access to keep the action available.
Does internal Messenger use procurement rooms?
No. Internal Company Messenger does not consume procurement rooms; external quotation relationships use room capacity.
